We believe...
One God...
- the Creator of all things - in
control of all things
The Bible...
- is the word of God and is
wholly inspired by Him [2Tim 3v16-17] - is His
message to the world - has the same gospel message through the Old and
New Testament - is the only written revelation from God
Jesus...
- is the Son of God [Luke
1v25] - is the Messiah or Christ - was the son of Mary (and
therefore Son of Man) [Luke 1v31] - died and was in
the grave for three days [1Cor 15v3-4] - was
resurrected from the dead and given eternal life by his Father - is now
in heaven as mediator between God and mankind [1Tim 2v5]
- will soon return as king on the earth [Acts 1v11; 1Cor
15v25]
The Kingdom of God
- will be set up on the
earth - will have Jesus as king - will be soon [Luke 21v24-28]
The Spirit of God...
- is His power with
which He implements His will - was given in measure to some of the
disciples in the first century after Christ
Mankind...
- is mortal - has a sinful
nature - can have eternal life in the kingdom of God
Salvation...
- is dependent on believing
the gospel message [Mk 16v15-16] - is dependent on
baptism [Mk 16v16] - is dependent on following
Christ's commandments
